Main Street views

Taking a cue from fellow bloggers, I thought I might share a selection of views from Main Street at Disneyland with you today.

Starting off, how about this classic 70’s Panavue image of City Hall? Love those bell bottom jeans, too! And dark socks with shorts and tennis shoes? Oooofff!

We’ll try and make up for that with a November night view across Town Square.

Pretty rare to see this area with out it’s fruit and vegetable Out Door Vending carts. Kind of reminds you that this actually is a cross street.

Something for the folks enjoying warm weather this week. Christmas time at the Park with carolers serenading guests in their Victorian cold weather finery in front of the New Century Clock Shop.

It’s the Main Street Merchants Association Band, marching off to their next performance. Well worth a listen, too!

Elgin watches? GAF Photos? Hallmark cards? Oh yeah, signs of a different era...

Love the lights at the Plaza Pavilion. Who knows? Maybe guests will actually be able to enjoy meals here again some day? Would certainly be nice...

Really well hidden Disneyland history! Here is the wall where guests got a glimpse of International Street and Liberty Square. Still looking good years later!

No visit to Main Street is really complete without that Mickey balloon.

Well, you have the horse’s full attention...

Yes, sir. A fine California morning in May of 2005.

Hey! Who let “him” drive?

Thanks for coming along on this little scenic tour of Main Street at Disneyland with us today.
