Hello fellow Disney Big Figure collectors and welcome back. It has been awhile and a lot has happened. So, where to begin?

 

The Big Figs continue amaze me. I must say that Disney seems to be capturing more great moments in their designs. This year there have been some great new Disney Big Figs released and more will be coming for the Holidays.

Really exciting is the return of the Life-Sized Disney Big Figs. These particular Big Figs are 3 feet tall. And with great detail such! Donald has two interchangeable heads - Angry or Happy. Steamboat Mickey has a large plaque on the front. Sorcerer Mickey had the bucket and brooms and his hat is removable.

After Disney Auctions ended we thought they did to but the popularity of the Big Figs has proven itself. The new ones are coming from Disneyshopping.com. As an example, right now they have Life-Sized Steamboat 80th Anniversary pictured below. The other releases below have unfortunately sold out.

 

   

 

Another favorite returned this year, from Walt Disney World Star Wars Weekend! They feature four characters decked out in their Star Wars attire. They are limited to 600 pieces and will sell for $200.00 each, when available in September. Visit Disneygallery.com for more info on ordering.

May the Force be with you! Meet Mickey as Anakin; Donald as Darth Maul; Minnie as Queen Amidala; and Goofy as Jar Jar Binks. Each has a matching base and light-up effects.

 

Also, new at the Resorts Fireman Mickey version two in Big Fig releases. This one is modeled towards modern Mickey and has a special mark on the back of the hydrant Marceline, Missouri. A real Disney fan knows what that represents... 

Celebrate the 55th Anniversary of Peter Pan with two great Big Figs -  Neverland and Tinker Bell - each with a special plaque. Neverland has working waterfall, light-up tepee and all the great scenes from the movie.

 

 

 

Coming soon to the Fab Five Villain Set are Donald and Daisy, the third in the Collection. The first release was Mickey as Captain Hook and Minnie as the Evil Queen (from “Snow White”) dressed for Halloween followed by Goofy as Chernabog. There is lots of great color on Mickey and Minnie with glow in the dark spider webs on the base and light-up Jack O Lanterns. Donald and Daisy will be released at the Parks this fall.
