Not what you think of...

 

When most folks think of Bud Abbot and Lou Costello, the classic routine, “Who’s On First?” (from the 1945 film “Naughty Nineties” always is what they think of. But they did so much more that you might enjoy. Everything from burlesque to radio film and even television.


So today, I’m sharing a few favorites of mine.


Starting off with “Dice” from 1941’s “Buck Privates”:





















And then, “Two Tens For A Five”:





















From the television days, it’s “Floogle Street” or the Susquehanna hats (actually a classic burlesque sketch):





















And from radio, a bit of helpful information about travel by train as we learn that “a lower is higher than an upper”.





See? There really is a lot more than just “Who’s On First?”
