Real Movie and Television Memorabilia
Real Movie and Television Memorabilia
Okay, so you have a favorite movie or television show, right? Don’t we all. But how would you like to have a piece of the show, at home to enjoy? No, we are not talking about a portion of the profits. We are talking about costumes, props and even set pieces.
There is always eBay. Lot’s and lot’s of movie and television production items for sale. Check this link if you don’t believe me. See? Even individual categories for props and wardrobe for both Movies and Television.
Now if you really want something special, you might just have to be patient. Sooner or later, it’s gonna come up for sale here. Take for example, one of my favorite shows, “Space: Above & Beyond”. A look at the items for sale on eBay? And there we go. Not only props, but set pieces, too.

How the really weird part? I was in the cockpit of the ISSAPC when it was on the set. And I saw the Hammerhead cockpits all snug in the set for the Saratoga’s launch bay during a visit while the show was in production. Now if only I had won the big Mega-Millions lotto...
Maybe a wardrobe piece from your favorite movie or television show instead? Try “It’s A Wrap”. With two Southern California locations and eBay auctions, these folks have a lot of great items at reasonable prices. I’ve shopped at the Burbank location myself and found some good stuff.
Right now, their big online sale is on props and wardrobe from Paramount and the various Star Trek franchises. Over the last several months, I’ve seen items listed on eBay from every Trek you can imagine including the Original series right up to Enterprise and every single one of the movies. Prices? Well, let’s just say that Trekkers have money and they’re spending it here. Not to say that there aren’t bargains, but the more mainstream the piece, the higher it seems to go for. But if you want the real thing, these folks have it. We’re not talking cheap knock off’s here.
But don’t stop there! Plenty of places on eBay and on the Internet to check out for all kinds of things. Don’t stop here!
