Funny you should ask. There are so many.

Call it one too many late night viewings of “Casablanca”. Recall Senior Ferrari -- The character played by Sidney Greenstreet? He ran a bar called the “Blue Parrot” as seen above.

Or how about Pierre, one of the four hosts of the  Walt Disney’s Enchanted Tiki Room? He’s another blue parrot.

And then there’s this guy. The one on the right, Mr. Cotton’s Parrot as he is known, from the Pirates of the Caribbean movies. Astute movie-goers will recall that Mr. Cotton had his tongue cut out so he taught the parrot to talk...

Or how about this one? He welcomes guests in the queue at Disneyland’s Pirates of the Caribbean attraction. Amusing coincidence just how he is close to Mr. Cotton’s Parrot. Or is it?

So, that should answer that question. It all comes down to Pop culture and then some... Who knew?
