Favorite Disneyland Views
Favorite Disneyland Views
52 years ago today, things were organized chaos in Anaheim. All of those last minute details were doing their best to make for a day of infamy and history.
So in honor of the day, I thought I would share some of my favorite views around the Park.
First up, a selection of Disneyland Panavue images - from slides once sold at the Park:
A nice long night exposure gives Skull Rock a touch of mystery and adventure in Fantasyland.
There’s an undeniable attraction in seeing the Mark Twain all aglow at night at the Frontier Landing.
Call me sentimental, but I always enjoyed
the “Fantasy In The Sky” fireworks show.
Sure would be nice to see this show grace this stage again at the Golden Horseshoe Saloon.
As much as I enjoy Big Thunder Mountain, a ride through Natures Wonderland and the town of Rainbow Ridge aboard this train was always a lot of fun.
Such comfy seating...
Some jokes never get old - especially the classic
“Mother In-Law” Special - “Half Way For Half Fare”.
Of all the attractions in the Park, it never ceases to amaze me that the railroad is still as popular with guests as ever. Guess that explains why Walt used to enjoy taking a spins at the throttle of the locomotives now and then.
I can spend hours just sitting here watching the world go by.
A special moment to be treasured.
Gepetto’s Workshop and all set for Christmas!
Finally, I’ve always like this view of the Partners statue.
We’ll always be glad Walt saw something here that he wanted to share so much with everyone.
